taking a break... from blog at least

I think I am taking a blog break, I just turned it off yesterday, then a friend wondered what happened and another who lives a ways away wanted to see some pic's that I had done... so I decided to just write a note instead.. so until next time - adios

Lately I've been struck with Noah's gentle and tender lovingness. I'm sure I sound bias, but I've known a lot of kids. Noah either intensely loves, or completely disregards people that he knows. Initially he disregards everyone. But once someone has caught his heart, his loyalty runs deep. You don't get a show of affection from him because he needs the attention or is trying to win you. It is never presented with an expectation for something in turn. He's very artistic and aware of anything he deems beautiful. He's an observer of persons and nature around him. Everywhere we go he finds little leaves or flowers or ... anything that he thinks is beautiful and is constantly saying: "this is for you because I love you" "this is for sissy because I love her" "Dad, I made this for you"... And you can see him glowing as he presents it. To me it seems like the pure joy he gets from beauty, and how every time he finds it he wants to share it with someone that he cares for deeply, is a small display of God's love for the beauty of his creation, and how he made it to share with us. How amazing it will be when he returns and restores creation from what sin has done. I can't wait to see Noah's face when he sees it. If this sounds gushy, well tough, my kids make me that way sometimes=)
