getting ready for anni's bday

So Annica's 12th birthday is tomorrow (I KNOW) and every year she get to decide whether she puts the money into a big party and receives a small gift, or visa versa. So this year she chose party... slumber party with a dress-up, make-up, tea-party theme.

I am having so much fun! Thank you "rambling rose" for suggesting felt purses, I think they turned out beautiful (I know I'm really modest! But the idea for this was just a bunch of other's idea's pasted together and... presto!). I loved how the invites turned out and got a killer deal at bath and body works on the little gift baskets.

Also these pic's were taken in low light with my amazing new f 2.8 lens from the Lanes-thanks again!!!! No camera shake!!! yay!!

So it's funny, this shot was done while I was testing the lighting, but I really ended up noticing it later and liking it... I am playing with it and using it for some tags for some of my stuff that I am hopefully going to be getting up on etsy soon...

i got bored

...or inspired, whichever way you look at it I have been doing little sewing projects again lately.. this cardigan is probably 10 years old, yes I am at the age when style, post high school, made a full circle (referring to the cardigans)

beau's birthday

After looking at these photo's (and there are more but this pretty much captures it) I am baffled as to where Josiah was at this moment??? I'm not sure if he snuck away to the toys or what, but he is oddly absent from the entire batch... oh wait I think I glimpse his head through the chair (and that is Noah's arm on the table behind Dad).

I got a custom order for these and had to take a pic before delivery, I wish I would have gotten the pic with them packaged in the cupcake box complete with chocolate brown polka-dot ribbon and little square cupcake punch-out card.. but I didn't=)
