Ahshua's name is derived from the Hebrew transliteration of the name Jesus, "Yahshua." It means Yahwey's salvation or Yahwey is salvation. We heard the name and loved it before he was conceived and when I learned that I was pregnant again, that was it. We think it is a strong name and it fits.

I like his name too...and, of course, the 'ah' sound is the one most people voice when seeing him anyway :) He would probably think it was part of his name, so you've done him a great favor!
